Michael graduated from Maryland University's Extension Department (Bermuda) in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mr. Furbert was a principal of Windsor Management Services Ltd., which provided accounting and administrative services for a number of mutual funds, the largest having a net asset value in excess of $130 million; several insurance companies; and various trading entities.

Windsor Management Services Ltd. was sold in 1989 to Hemisphere Management Ltd., one of the largest management companies located in Bermuda, which is listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.. Mr. Furbert brings significant business, accounting and management expertise to the Richmond Group having served in various management capacities including the position of Accountant of Mundipharma Pharmaceutical Company.
